Holiday Revenge

“Naruto; hey Naruto, wait up!” Sakura yelled, running toward the young man in question. She darted through the crowds expertly, avoiding collision after collision in her furor to reach him. It was second nature to her to avoid the throngs of teenagers eager to make their escape from the halls of torture also known as Konoha High.

Naruto turned when his name was shouted his eye twitching slightly as Sakura finally reached him, bent over and panting to catch her breath. Within seconds she had recovered and laid her hand on his shoulder.

“I have to talk to you, Naruto. This is important!” she pleaded.

Naruto chuckled nervously, checking the time on the overhead clock opposite his locker. He bit his lip wondering if he would have enough time to help Sakura and still be on time. With the way Sakura gossiped there was no way he would make it. He had to find a way to turn her down, politely. But as soon as he opened his mouth, Sakura latched onto his arm, pleading again.

“This is really important Naruto. I wouldn’t bother you otherwise.”

Looking into her pleading green eyes, Naruto felt his resolve wavering until there was nothing left. He felt his body sag in resignation. “Of course we can talk. Do you want to go for a burger or…” Naruto swallowed remembering a second too late that Sakura was on another diet.

“…Maybe a salad for you?” he finished on a whisper, chuckling nervously again.

She viewed him slowly, an eyebrow rising just slightly. “This isn’t a date, you know that right?”

Of all the things Sakura could say to him this was the one thing he knew for certain. After years of pining away in the land of unrequited love he had finally given up on dating her…

And he could not be happier. The day he stopped chasing Sakura was a real eye-opener, in more ways than one. The world was no longer pink with the scent of strawberry cream. It had bloomed into a world of vibrant colors, the scent of musky earth invading his senses…among other things.

“Of course I know it’s not a date.” Naruto smiled.

Sakura eyed him with a strange look on her face. She appeared almost hurt by the comment, but a second later a smile lit her face. “Let’s go for coffee.”

Before Naruto could agree, his arm was gripped tightly as she marched them out of school, weaving around the lingering crowds.

~Merry Christmas~

Seated comfortably inside a small café, a coffee nestled between Sakura’s petite hands and a tea in Naruto’s, Sakura finally sighed and settled back in her seat. She was blushing now and that had Naruto cocking his head to the side, mildly confused. “Umm, I was curious…maybe you could help…I mean you know him…being friends and all…” she twittered nervously, gripping the cup in her hands until her knuckles turned white. “I mean, you don’t have to…but maybe you could…he talks to you…right?”

She looked up at Naruto who still had a look of confusion on his face, his brow scrunched and his nose wrinkled.

“Umm…” She blushed crimson and stared at the table. Her fingers worked their way to her hair, running through the short tangles of bubblegum pink.

“What is it Sakura?” he asked politely. He was a bit impatient, but that wouldn’t stop him from being courteous like his mother taught him to be.

“Uhh, you see…with the Christmas break…and New Year’s…”

“Yes,” he coaxed.

Taking a deep breath Sakura smiled and ploughed on. “You know Sasuke best! I want to get him a Christmas gift, but I realize that I don’t know much about him beyond his to-die-for stellar looks. He also has the money to buy whatever he wants so this gift has to be super special.”

“Oh.” To say that Naruto was surprised would be an understatement. He had a feeling this was about Sasuke, but he just assumed that she wanted to sleep with him or something. A Christmas gift never crossed his mind.

“You will help me?” she asked biting her lip nervously.

Naruto sat there, shock coursing through his veins. He didn’t know how to answer her; did he really want to help her? He had his own Christmas gifts to buy so it wouldn’t take him out of his way. But did he want to subject his best friend to a gift from Sakura? Sasuke wasn’t the most pleasant of people to be around…just last year he had glared at anyone who tried to give him a birthday gift. They were still piled inside his closet, forgotten in a corner.

“Please, Naruto, you have to help me. You’re the only one that would know what Sasuke wants.”

He almost rolled his eyes at her pleading tone. Sometimes he had to wonder why he had a crush on her in the first place, but then he remembered all the times she wasn’t in Sasuke fan girl mode and he found his answer. She was tolerable when she wasn’t crushing after her crush; she even made good company.

“Why would you go so far as to give him a gift when you know he hates receiving them?” Naruto asked.

“Umm, I thought that maybe if it was something that he liked than he would surely accept it.” Sakura twittered slightly trying to smile.

“And what would you want from him in return?”

He would admit he was brimming with curiosity, even though he suspected the answer already. There was only one thing that Sakura would want in return and the deep blush on her face was a dead giveaway. He sighed and resisted the urge to rub at his temples. “It won’t work Sakura; Sasuke is not like that.”

“But he…”

Naruto had to interject before she made a fool of herself. “Look, I’ll help you search for a gift, but don’t get your hopes up.”

“Really?” Her face lit in joy as she gripped the coffee cup between her hands tightly, a radiant smile on her face.

“Yes, but don’t get your hopes up.” Naruto repeated

“This will work Naruto, I know it will. Thank you, thank you; thank you. We’ll meet tomorrow at the mall around noon so don’t be late.” She rushed from the diner in high spirits.

Naruto shook his head as he finished his tea, leaving a tip. He took one final look at his watch, groaned and made the walk back to his apartment.  He would never make it on time now…

~Feliz Navidad~

Naruto stood by the food court waiting for Sakura to show. She had warned him not to be late, yet did the same rule not apply to her? She was already fifteen minutes past due. He controlled the impulse to tap his foot. Instead he hid a yawn behind his hand. He was dead tired from lack of sleep the night before.

He caught sight of a mop of pink hair weaving through the crowds outside the shops. She waved at Naruto enthusiastically and then gripped his arm tightly. “I’m sooo sorry I’m late, traffic was terrible and Ino was being such a bitch this morning. And then Hinata showed up a nervous wreck about a Christmas gift for Neji…”

Naruto stopped listening from that point on letting Sakura babble on as they made their way to the first shop. Sakura stopped and stared, confusion wrote on her face. “Why are we here?” she asked with a note of disgust.

“You wanted to find something Sasuke would like, well, this is the best place to find that.”

“Hell no, I am not going in there!” she demanded and pulled Naruto towards the Apple Nation. He tried to pull her away, but her grip tightened around his arm causing him to wince.

“Sasuke doesn’t like that kind of clothing Sakura.”

“Of course he does. This will make the perfect gift for him. I see him in fancy clothing all the time.”

“Sa-Sakura…” But his protests were ignored. He was dragged through the clothing store as Sakura scanned the racks with an expert eye holding up shirts from time to time. Naruto could only grimace and nod, dreading even agreeing to be here now. It was obvious she didn’t really want his advice.

“So what kind of restaurant does Sasuke prefer to eat at? I know he goes out often with his parents and brother.” she asked, holding up a deep green polo shirt. Naruto winced at the shocking shade. Sasuke loathed green. Dark blue was more his style; and black, definitely black.

“I don’t know where they go out to eat. The teme doesn’t talk about that stuff with me.”

“Oh, well than what is his favorite food? Maybe I could make him something to eat instead.”

“Look, Sakura, you shouldn’t get your hopes up here…”

“Hmm,” she asked and returned the green polo to the rack. She pulled out a hideous maroon polo next. “Do you know his favorite food or not?”

“Tomatoes,” he sighed.

Sakura snorted, returning the offending polo back on the rack next the discarded green polo. “Don’t joke. If you don’t know you don’t know. Maybe I’ll make him my famous lemon meringue pie for dessert after a dinner of natto.”

“He doesn’t like natto.” Naruto mumbled, but Sakura wasn’t listening to him anymore as she immersed herself in dinner plans. Naruto’s head fell in despair. Sasuke liked rice balls and tomatoes and absolutely hated sweets. This was a disaster in the making.

“I’ve found the perfect outfit, Naruto!” Sakura exclaimed in joy, holding up a deep red shirt and a pair of baggy jeans that was ‘IN’ at the moment.  She rushed to the checkout giggling as she went and spent nearly 20 minutes talking to the clerk. By this time Naruto had given up and lounged by the exit waiting for Sakura to join him.

“Now that you have your gift I’m going to ship off,” he replied when she finally exited the shop.

Sakura frowned at him. “But I’m not done yet.”

“But you bought him clothes…”

“Yes, and now I need to accessorize. Everyone knows that Naruto.” She shoved the bags into Naruto’s hand and dragged him to the next store, Fashion Jewelry by Apple Nation. Naruto quirked an eye he passed through the wide doorway.

“So what kinds of music does Sasuke listen too.”

Naruto inwardly groaned as she set about looking at jewelry to match the shirt and jeans. “He likes classical music.”

Sakura burst out laughing. “Silly, I told you before if you don’t know you don’t know. He’s definitely into the heavy metal and rock.”

Naruto hung his head in defeat. She wasn’t listening to him! Sasuke hated rock music and particularly despised heavy metal.

Sakura shrieked in triumph and produced a necklace that looked like it belonged on a surfer. Sasuke wasn’t into that sort of thing. In fact he hated wearing all forms of jewelry…except for one particular piece that was his most prized possession. He only wore it on special occasions.

“Sakura, I don’t think Sasuke would like something like that.”

“Nonsense, he’ll love it,” she giggled and rushed to the checkout sliding her prized platinum credit card. This time she didn’t linger. She thrust the bags into Naruto’s hand and dragged him off to the next store: Accessories Crazy by Apple Nation.

She immediately scanned the hooks for belts that would pull off her perfect image of Sasuke. Naruto had enough of trying to stop her and kept his mouth shut, nodding when she held up a black and blue checkered belt. Oddly enough Sasuke would like that belt, but Sakura didn’t agree as she wrinkled her nose and returned it to the rack.

“What kind of books does Sasuke enjoy reading, if any?”

“Literature.”

Sakura laughed and shook her head. “No, no, he must like those new 20 Variables of Black books. They’re really popular.”

“No Sakura, he doesn’t like them.” Naruto stated, but Sakura shrugged him off with a laugh.

She pulled out a nasty solid brown leather belt that looked like it belonged on a woman’s hips and not a strong young man’s. He held back a roll of his eyes and retreated to the entrance again, waiting for Sakura to pay for her purchase. After being shoved the bag he was then dragged to the Entertainment Hut by Apple Nation. This time he didn’t hold back the roll of his eyes. Was everything owned by Apple Nation?

He took pains to avoid Sakura as she picked out the music and books that she enquired about earlier. With a smile on her face she strode to the checkout. Now laden with numerous bags Naruto was directed to Sakura’s car where he dumped everything into her truck.

“Thank you for your input Naruto! I couldn’t have done this without you!” she squealed.

“No problem, Sakura.” Naruto muttered, checking his watch.

“Well, I’ll see you at the Christmas party then!” With that she backed out of her parking spot and zipped down the road, weaving through traffic so that she was the first car at the red light.

Naruto shook his head and returned to the shop Sakura had dismissed: Book Haven. At least it wasn’t an Apple Nation brand. He smiled wide as he stepped inside greeting the clerk at the checkout. “Hey teme, are you almost done with your shift.”

“Hn, dobe, in half an hour.”

“Do you need a ride home or were you still going to Neji’s party?”

“I’ll skip it tonight; there will be plenty more that I can attend later.”

Naruto shook his head and walked his way to his favorite section of books, Crime Novels. He looked at all the titles scanning for anything new. He eyes alighted on a cover he’d never seen before. His hand shot out and pulled the book from the shelf. Placing himself on the ground he began to read, immediately falling into the author’s world. Sasuke grunted and pulled the book from Naruto’s grasp.

“Hey!”

“Hn, time to go dobe.” With a smirk, Sasuke led the way from the store placing the book on the counter as he went. “So what were you doing with Sakura earlier?”

His onyx eyes surveyed Naruto as the blonde caught up to him. “Absolutely nothing.” Naruto admitted and it wasn’t far from the truth.

Sasuke frowned and turned to look at Naruto, stopping them in the middle of the mall and forcing shoppers walking behind them to make a wide detour around them. “Who was she shopping for?”

Naruto shrugged his shoulders and looked away avoiding Sasuke’s penetrating gaze. Sasuke frowned and crossed his arms, his foot tapping out his annoyance. “What did she buy me this time?”

Pink lips were drawn in by pearly teeth and bit nervously. “Nothing you would like, Sasuke.”

“Dobe, I thought you were going to discourage her?”

“I tried and she refused to listen to me!” Naruto defended. He didn’t like the accusing stare Sasuke was shooting him. It was unnecessary.

“What did she buy?” Sasuke demanded again.

“Just accept it graciously and donate it to charity afterwards.”

“Why would I do such a thing? That would only be encouraging her and I will not encourage her.”

“She just wants to give you a gift…” Naruto started, but stopped when Sasuke snarled.

“A gift for her you mean. Does she honestly think that will be enough to get me into bed with her?”

“I don’t know?” And now Naruto was back to biting his lip.

“God, dobe, that’s what she wants isn’t it?”

“Why should it matter?!” Naruto snapped. “It’s not like it will work anyway!”

“That is beside the point.”

“Just accept the gift, turn her down, and donate it when you get the chance.”

“Hn…” Sasuke grunted.

~Mele Kalikimaka~

The Uchiha Christmas party began promptly at six o’clock the following evening and for almost an hour Sasuke had effectively avoided Sakura. She cornered him in the back yard as he took out the trash, intent on keeping up with cleaning even though it was his party and his family used a daily cleaning service when his mother was busy with work.

“Umm, Sasuke, I had a Christmas gift for you.” She blushed to the roots of her pink hair holding out the large box for Sasuke to receive.

Sasuke turned his glare to the garish wrapping paper, distaste evident on his face. “No, thank you.”

Sakura’s mouth hung open with shock. She was certain this would work! “But you didn’t even see what I got you…”

“I don’t want to see what you got me, Sakura. Doubtless, it is all the things you believe I would like and nothing I would actually like.”

“But, but you have to accept this!” she shrieked.

“I don’t want it. If I do take your gift it will only give you a false hope. I have no intentions of sleeping with you and I certainly have no intentions of dating you.”

Fat tears welled up in Sakura’s eyes as reality hit her; hard. Her Sasuke was refusing her and wouldn’t even take his gift. “Why?” she choked out.

Sasuke smirked and leaned in towards her ear, his breath ghosting over her flesh. “I will only receive one gift tonight and it will not be from you. You see, I have a boyfriend and what he has to offer is far better than the designer clothes, the horrendous heavy metal/rock music, and the disgusting trash that tries to pass itself off as a novel that you have to offer me. I did not work this hard to get him just to turn around and drop him for you. He will always be what I want and nothing anyone can do will change my mind about that fact. So take your gift and give it to someone else that would appreciate it, because I do not want it.”

Sasuke pulled back and walked away passing Neji and Shikamaru as he went. He stopped in his tracks, almost bumping into Naruto who was laughing at something Kiba had said. Sakura witnessed the smile tug at Sasuke’s lips before it disappeared into a small frown. With shock she realized that Sasuke was talking about Naruto.

Taking a step back, Sakura rushed from the Uchiha Estate and home, wrapping her arms tightly around her waist, fingers numb with the biting cold of late December. Sasuke wanted Naruto, for reasons she couldn’t fathom. She bit her lip, recalling every detail she could remember of her blonde friend; what did Sasuke see in him?

By the time she reached home, she had her answer. Her mind began to work over her plot of revenge. Sasuke wouldn’t see it coming, and neither would Naruto.

~Happy Holidays~

Sasuke pushed Naruto down on his bed as soon as they reached his room, tearing at the buttons on the dobe’s shirt and sending them flying. A laugh rumbled through Naruto as his fingers tangled in the dark hair of his boyfriend.

“Are you ready for your punishment Naruto?” Sasuke asked.

“Punishment? What the hell are you talking about teme?” Naruto asked mildly confused.

“You were late the other day. In fact, you never showed up. Did you think that I forgot or that I would let it slide?”

“But…but,” Naruto spluttered. No, he really didn’t believe Sasuke forgot, but he did believe that the teme had let it slide. “I was helping Sakura!”

“That doesn’t excuse you. Now turn around, hands on the headboard.”

Naruto complied with the order, crawling his way to the head of the bed and kneeling before the headboard, his hands gripping the dark wood tightly. He wondered what his punishment would be this time; Sasuke was always punishing him for something.

He didn’t dare look behind him when he heard the rustle of fabric, knowing that would make Sasuke angry. He didn’t even flinch when darkness descended over his eyes, the fabric obstructing his view. That was fine; he really didn’t want to look at the wall anyway.

“I don’t like to be stood up, Naruto,” Sasuke whispered in his ear, breath ghosting over the tan shell and causing shivers to wrack through his body. Naruto grit his teeth, silently cursing the bastard for doing that. He was very sensitive there.

“I told you I was helping Sakura,” Naruto ground out. He was trying to fight off what his body wanted with just that simple act, but he was losing the battle.

“I didn’t give you permission to speak, Naruto.”

He bit his lip to keep from responding which caused Sasuke to laugh. This was the only time he could take control of Naruto, where Naruto would do anything for him. He didn’t even have to tie his dobe down; he would open himself to the lightest touch.

Sasuke bent towards his nightstand drawer and pulled out a few choice items, laying them on top. From the corner of his eye he saw Naruto swallow, his cock hardening with just his rampant imagination.

“I was cornered by Sakura tonight,” Sasuke continued, flicking the cap off a well-used bottle. Naruto shivered at the sound, his nails biting into Sasuke’s headboard. “It wasn’t a pretty sight, Naruto.”

“I tried…”

“Hush!” Sasuke ordered. Naruto bit his lip, grunting over the words he was about to speak. The Uchiha smiled with satisfaction, squirting the liquid in his hand, amused by the plopping sound. He reached out and grabbed another item from his bedside table, coating the object well with the lube in his palm.

Naruto hung his head, his breathing picking up pace as his mind filled with past trysts and lingered on the time before last. Sasuke had introduced something new to their bedroom antics and Naruto absolutely loved it.

“I waited for you Naruto and you didn’t show up. Instead, you were out with her. Hush!” Sasuke admonished again when Naruto opened his mouth to respond. “I don’t like her anywhere near you, dobe, and for that you must be punished.”

“Sasuke!” Naruto whined.

“Yes, Naruto?” Sasuke smirked. “That is the only word you should be saying by the time I’m through with you.”

Sasuke stopped coating the object in his hand and knelt behind Naruto, his face level with the tanned bottom. He grabbed a tanned globe in his free hand and spread the cheek apart, eyeing the dark pink entrance in eagerness. It was three days since the last time he played with his blonde.

He placed the object against the ring of muscle watching Naruto jerk away slightly. Sasuke chuckled and pushed harder, watching the ring give slightly under the pressure. Naruto gasped his head falling to hit the headboard, his breathing harsher.

“Don’t tell me you need to be prepped?”

Naruto bit his lip, breathing deeply. This would be part of his punishment for missing the last time. “No,” he whispered.

“Good.” Sasuke remarked and pushed the object into Naruto’s anus watching the blonde’s back arch and his nails dig into the headboard. He was amused, delighted even, that there would be more grooves made by Naruto in his headboard.

“Bastard!” Naruto growled.

Sasuke chuckled and flipped a switch on the object watching it buzz enthusiastically.

“Fu-fucking bastard…” Naruto wheezed. He moved his hips trying to dislodge the vibrator.

“Uh-uh, Naruto. This is your punishment. I get to use anything-anything-I like on you and you have to take it.” He gripped the wiggling hips and stilled them, watching his dobe squeeze around the vibrator attempting to expel it.

“I don’t like it teme!” Naruto whined, his brow slick with beads of sweat.

“I know you lie, dobe. You absolutely love it.”

“F-fuck you!”

“No, fuck you.” Sasuke slapped Naruto’s ass, shoving the half expelled vibrator back inside.

“AHH! Wh-why?”

“Why what?” Sasuke hummed, biting at Naruto’s ear. Naruto whimpered, his head falling back on the Uchiha’s shoulder.

“Why do you hate her so much?” Naruto gasped.

Sasuke pulled back, dislodging himself from Naruto and turning the vibrator off. “What are my rules, Naruto?” His tone was biting, revealing his displeasure to his partner. “Tell me!”

Naruto jumped and lowered his head in submission, knowing Sasuke would appreciate the gesture. “Submit to you completely in bed.”

“What else?” he asked, running his hand over Naruto’s backside and watching the goosebumps rise. His dobe knew what was coming next.

“Speak only when you permit.”

Naruto bit his lip, feeling the stinging pain against his ass as Sasuke smacked him. “What is the exception to that rule?”

“I am permitted to speak only when it is calling your name.” Another smack struck against his ass, harder than the first.

“The next rule?”

“I am to accept all forms of punishment without complaint.”

Tears sprang to his eyes, hidden in the cloth covering his eyes, as Sasuke struck him twice more.

“Do you deserve to be punished?” Sasuke asked.

“Yes,” he whispered.

Sasuke scowled. “I didn’t hear you!” And he smacked Naruto again.

“YES!” Naruto howled.

“That’s better, Naruto. And what is my final rule?” Sasuke asked.

“Never talk about her in bed.” Naruto replied, his head hitting the headboard waiting for the final blow. It never came. He wanted to turn, to question Sasuke, but he couldn’t. He had to remain submissive.

“I don’t like her, I don’t trust her, and I don’t want you to have anything to do with her.” Naruto gave a hesitant nod and Sasuke relented. “You can speak, Naruto.”

“Why?”

“I know you carried feelings for her at one time.”

“But I don’t want her! Not now that I have you, Sasuke!”

Sasuke snorted and smiled. “Bitch.”

He pulled Naruto around and forced him down on the bed, smothering him with a fierce kiss. His hand snaked down Naruto’s torso and toward his leg, forcing it up and to the side. His other hand gripped a nipple, twisting it between his fingers. Naruto gasped, jerking forward and seeking friction.

The buzzing renewed, Naruto’s back arching off the bed.

“Fuck, Sasuke!”

Sasuke gripped Naruto’s leaking cock, pumping the turgid flesh and feeling it pulse in his hand. “I told you that you liked it.” Sasuke whispered, his tongue tickling the tortured nipple.

Naruto’s whimper ended on a groan as Sasuke flicked his thumb over his slit, smearing the dew that gathered at the tip. His breathing increased and his body jerked, aching to release.

Sasuke removed his hand from the leaking cock and brought his thumb to Naruto’s lips. Without hesitation, he parted his lips and closed around the thumb, tasting his own essence. It wasn’t one of his favorite things to taste, but Sasuke loved it; loved to watch him taste himself.

He brought his hips down swiftly, grinding against the smaller boy beneath him. Naruto brought his arms around Sasuke’s shoulders and pulled him down again, gasping at the rubbing sensation to the underside of his own cock. “In-inside…”

Sasuke laughed and licked Naruto’s jaw. “Not tonight my sweet.”

“Sas-Sasuke…!”

He ground his pelvis down, smothering Naruto’s protests, and adopted a slow pace. He enjoyed torturing his sweet, who loved to go fast and often. Sasuke preferred to go slow, to draw it out.

“Faster!” Naruto grunted.

His demand was ignored. Sasuke continued steadily, but ground harder enjoying the sounds of appreciation from his blonde.

A deep rumble from low in Naruto’s throat was Sasuke’s first indication that Naruto was close, the second indication came in the form of Naruto closing his thighs tightly around his thrusting hips. Moments later he sighed, his back arching as warm seed shot between them. Sasuke smirked and increased his pace, rocking against the spent blonde vigorously.

Naruto growled, “Bastard!”

“My sweet bitch.” Sasuke responded, shaking with his own orgasm.

A full minute passed before Sasuke flopped down next to Naruto in bed and switched off the still vibrating toy inside his dobe. He removed the blindfold next watching blue eyes blink rapidly with new sight. An instant later and Naruto was curling into the Uchiha’s side and whispering, “I love you, Sasuke.”

“I love you too, sweet Naruto.”

“Hmm,” Naruto hummed.

Sasuke pulled Naruto to lie on top of him, his hands reaching for the crumpled comforter on the floor to cover them both. His hands dove under the cover and roamed the blonde’s back, stroking butterfly soft strokes. Naruto sighed contentedly, his eyes closing. He felt warm and loved in Sasuke’s embrace; and more importantly, he felt safe.

Sasuke kissed Naruto’s forehead, his hands running over the tanned backside and feeling the hard plastic of the vibrator. With a grimace he pulled out the toy and discarded it on the floor. There was barely a noise from the blonde that Sasuke thought he was sleeping, until he heard a soft, “Merry Christmas, teme.”

With a snort, Sasuke replied in kind, “Merry Christmas, dobe.”

~Happy New Year~

Sakura stared at her open yearbook, eyeing two pictures right next to one another. She had her revenge planned out and when winter break was over it would be set in motion.

‘Enjoy your time together,’ she thought. ‘Because after I’m through you will know what true loss is.’
